Scholarship Eligibility Criteria (Pre Matric)
  • 1. Academic Requirement: Students must have secured not less than 50% marks or an equivalent grade in their previous final examination.
  • 2. Financial Need: The annual income of the parents or guardians should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
  • 3. Applicable Classes: The scholarship is available for students studying in classes 01-10.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria (Post Matric)
  • 1. Academic Requirement: Students must have secured not less than 50% marks or an equivalent grade in their previous final examination.
  • 2. Financial Need: The annual income of the parents or guardians should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
  • 3. Applicable Classes: The scholarship is available for students in Class 11th and 12th, including technical and vocational courses of this level, such as Polytechnic, ITIs, and other similar courses.
Eligibility (Merit Cum Means MCM Scholarship)
  • 1. Academic Requirement: The scholarship will be awarded to students who have less than 50% marks or an equivalent grade in their previous final examination.
  • 2. Financial Need: The annual income of the parents or guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
  • 3. Applicable Courses: Students who get admission to a college pursuing technical or professional courses based on competitive examinations are eligible for the scholarship.

National Scholarship Portal 2024 Require Documents

National Scholarship Portal 2024 Requirements Documents Are As Follows:

  1. Last Qualification Exam Marks Sheet: The marks sheet from the applicant’s most recent qualification exam.
  2. Income Certificate: Proof of the annual income of the parents or guardians, usually in the form of an income certificate.
  3. Caste Certificate: A certificate indicating the applicant’s caste or community.
  4. Bank Passbook: Documentation related to the applicant’s bank account, often in the form of a passbook.
  5. Fee Receipt Number: Proof of fee payment, typically a receipt number.
  6. Enrollment Number: Identification number assigned to the applicant upon enrollment.
  7. Aadhar Card Scan Copy: A scanned copy of the applicant’s Aadhar card, providing a unique identification.
  8. Latest Passport Size Scan Photo: A recent scanned passport-sized photograph of the applicant.
  9. Self-certified community certificate: For applicants who have attained 18 years of age, a self-certified community certificate is required. For others, a community certificate certified by a parent or guardian is needed.
  10. Self-attested mark sheet for MCM bed scholarship Applicants: Applicants for scholarships under the MCM bed category need to upload a self-attested mark sheet, confirming that the applicant has secured not less than 50% in the last exam at the Higher Secondary or graduation level.

How to Apply For National Scholarship Portal 2024

To Apply For National Scholarship Portal 2024, follow these steps;

Step 1: Searching for the Institute

  1. Visit the home page of the NSP.
  2. Click on the ‘Search for Institute’ button.
  3. Fill in the required details to get the list of institutions.
  4. If the institution is not registered, candidates can request their institutions to register on the portal.

Step 2: Registering with the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)

  1. Fresh users need to visit the NSP home page.
  2. Click on ‘New Registration.’
  3. Read the guidelines for registration carefully.
  4. Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed.
  5. Fill in all required details.
  6. Click on ‘Register.’
  7. Receive a student application ID and password on the registered mobile number.

Step 3: Logging in with the National Scholarship Portal

  1. Click on the login button.
  2. Enter the application ID and password received on the registered number.

Step 4: Change the Password (A mandatory step)

  1. Upon successful login, receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.
  2. Verify the OTP.
  3. Be directed to the change password page.
  4. Change the password and continue.

Step 5: Enter the Dashboard

  1. Once the password is changed, be directed to the Applicant’s Dashboard Page.
  2. Click on ‘Application Form’ to start the application.
  3. Fill in all registration details, academic details, and basic details.
  4. Click on ‘Save & Continue.’
  5. Add contact details, and scheme details, and upload the necessary documents.
  6. Click on ‘Save as Draft’ (To confirm the correct information).
  7. Once confirmed, click on the ‘Final Submit’ button.
